Specialist Classes at The Netball Academy Singapore

Exclusively for 12-year-old players to sharpen their attacking, defending & shooting skills.

About our Specialist Classes

Our Specialist Classes allow players to focus on specific areas of their game — attacking, defending or shooting. Each class develops the techniques & understanding needed to become more effective in that area.

Through guided drills & game situations, players practise these skills under pressure. Coaches provide feedback to help them recognise what to adjust & how to apply their learning during matches.

Our Specialist Classes give players focused practice in key areas of the game:

  • Attacking – Develop effective movement, timing & passing to create space & connect with teammates.
  • Defending – Improve positioning, footwork & anticipation to pressure opponents & contest the ball.
  • Shooting – Refine shooting technique, movement within the goal circle & accuracy under pressure.

Knowing when & how to use a skill matters just as much as performing it. Our Specialist Classes help players develop:

  • Court Awareness – Recognise space, read opponents & position effectively.
  • Decision-Making – Choose when to move, pass, contest or shoot as play develops.
  • Teamwork & Communication – Work with teammates to create opportunities in attack & provide support in defence.

Our Specialist Classes give players the opportunity to strengthen specific areas of their game through focused coaching & practice.
